Also known as the
Prakritik Chiktsalaya, the nature cure health centre built on a
sprawling garden of three acres, its centre is walled on all sides
to keep out the hustle-bustle of the outside world. Inside are wards
for indoor patients, and treatment rooms, relieved by patches of
beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. Although all types of
ailments are treated at the centre, it has made impressive progress
in the cure of arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, calitis, diabetes,
heart problems, obesity, acidity, jaundice, respiratory ailments and
lumber spondalytis.
The treatment is based on the five elements, i.e., earth, water,
sound, air and ether. It includes fasting, sun bathing, mud baths,
wet sheet packing, steam baths and full tub bath (water therapy),
and electrotherapy. A juice centre, dairy farm, acupressure pathway
