Vipassana, an ancient
meditation technique, was first propounded by Gautam Buddha. The
Dhammathali, Jaipur, is one of the vipassana centres associated with
the research institute. The campus is located on a four-acre estate
set in the Aravallis. It has a meditation hall for 150 students, a
pagoda and a cell complex. The centre organises 10-day courses of
meditation for new students as well as 20, 30 and 45 day courses for
experienced learners. Refresher courses for old students are also
